Improvvisazione: Pentatonica min b5 su Dominante Alterato (parte I)

Esistono altre possibilita' di sovrapposizione pentatonica che esploreremo nei prossimi post;

ENGLISH

An altered dominant seventh chord (alt. dominant) is defined when the 5 and 9 gets altered (5b or # 5 and # 9 or 9b) ..An altered dominant chord then presents this structure:

The resulting scale (D Eb E F # A # C # Ab) taste very tensive, starting from the seventh contains the scale Locrian # 2.

The altered scale lends itself to be manipulated more 'easily for large intervals that give it sounds' more' singable and what is the scale (almost arpeggio) with more "space" that we know?

Obvious! The minor pentatonic ...

The smaller scale pent. b5 starting seventh of 'agreement makes it absolutely compatible in this sense. Same goes for the scale pent. min b5 on the root. There are other possibilities' of overlapping pentatonic we will see in the future posts; all this to take advantage of the "quirks" that we usually use in our phrasing pentatonic blues and we can use here... Considering that the half dimished  is basically a summary of the pentatonic b5 can also use the two arpeggios min7b5 C and then D min7 b5 (also a D min pent. b5 is ok over a D7 altered ).In the video above a static D7 altered the material used is mainly this1) Large jumps (with a tendency to sing often the # 9 or b5)2) Overlay of pent. b5 lesser of C and (at times that of D)3) min7b5 arpeggios of C and then D min7 b5.4) Small fragments of chromatic approach
